Gala Dinner and Show was held Tuesday, July 8th at the SeaGate
Convention Centre.
In
keeping with the tradition of bringing top musical talent to the
gala dinner Hootie & The Blowfish was the headline
entertainment for this year’s Merrill Lynch Gala Dinner and Show.
Hootie
& the Blowfish have sold over 25 million records worldwide after
their infectious melodies hit the airwaves in 1994 with hits “Hold
My Hand, “Let Her Cry” and Only Wanna Be With You.” The Album
Cracked Rear View earned them Billboard’s Band of the Year Award
in 1996.
